Holy Monday & Feast of Titus the Wonderworker
THE INAUGURAL Florovsky Week is officially on the books with speakers and venues confirmed. The theme is "The Reformation: An Ecumenical Retrospective" and the aim is to return to the sources for christian unity.
The week will kick off with a Tuesday evening banquet honoring Fr. Georges Florovsky & Cardinal John Henry Newman (July 10).
Academic papers and workshops (iconography and Gregorian chant) are scheduled for the mornings and afternoons on Wed-Fri. And then we'll focus on "The Patristic Doctrine of Salvation: Justification by Faith Alone?" during evening plenary dialogues by Hans Boersma, Kenneth Howell, and Bradley Nassif (Wed-Fri, July 11-13), plus more from them on the same topic Saturday morning and afternoon (July 14).
If you are interested in presenting a paper, please CLICK HERE for more information.
I hope you'll join us for the most direct ecumenical engagement we've organized thus far.
