We are delighted and privileged to have noted author Gene Veith, Provost and Professor of Literature Emeritus at Patrick Henry College and Director of the Cranach Institute at Concordia Theological Seminary, join us at the Hall of Men on Thursday, Oct 19. In light of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, he'll be presenting Martin Luther.
For the first time ever, all three traditions were represented equally at the Inklings Lecture Series. We hope the same will be true on this evening.
As usual, doors will open at The Ladder for the Hall of Men at 7 pm this Thursday and food will be served around 7:30 pm. At 8:30 pm we'll prepare for the lecture with the Eighth Day Convocation: hymn, patristic and scripture readings, the Nicene Creed, and the Lord's Prayer. Then a great lecture followed by good questions and discussion, good fellowship, and just possibly a few good smoke rings.
We hope you can join us at The Hall this week to learn about Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation.
